Employee Benefits Compliance Attorney

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Employee Benefits Compliance Attorney will manage regulatory research, provide guidance on employee health and welfare benefit laws, and support team members with compliance-related inquiries and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and articulate advice on regulations governing employee health and welfare benefit plans
• Implement strategies to educate team members on Regulatory & Legislative Strategy guidance and resources
• Contribute to articles and presentations on health and welfare benefit laws for customers and internal stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in employee benefits compliance
• Proficiency in health and welfare benefit laws such as ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and COBRA
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in writing and summarizing complex legal regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities
