Employee Benefits Counsel
Job Summary
To support the Employee Benefits division, the full-time Senior Counsel will provide legal guidance on supplemental health products and employer-provided life insurance, while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity near key office locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support for the development and administration of life insurance products
- Prepare, review, and negotiate legal contracts and agreements related to insurance products
- Research and draft recommendations on regulatory challenges and compliance issues
Required qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Member of the Bar in good standing in any US jurisdiction
- Five years of experience in insurance regulatory law or in-house counsel focused on supplemental health insurance
- Experience with individual and group life insurance products
- Proficient in MS Office and effective in project management
