Job Summary

Providing expert consultation and technical guidance, the full-time Employee Relations Specialist will manage complex employee relations cases for federal supervisors and managers, focusing on disciplinary actions, performance management, and grievance administration in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct consultations with supervisors to define issues and recommend appropriate action paths
  • Analyze evidence and draft disciplinary letters while ensuring procedural compliance and documentation integrity
  • Administer grievance procedures and assist management with performance plan development and attendance issues
Required qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in federal employee relations, including disciplinary actions and performance management
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying 5 CFR 752 and 5 CFR 432 regulations
  • Experience in developing employee relations correspondence for legal review
  • Strong understanding of grievance procedures and performance improvement plans
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including Labor Relations and EEO programs
