Employee Training Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance employee capabilities in revenue cycle operations, the full-time Employee Training Specialist will develop and design training programs, conduct training classes, and administer proficiency tests in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provides education and training for revenue cycle operations applications throughout the healthcare organization
• Coordinates and delivers training for new and current employees to ensure effective revenue cycle processing and patient experience
• Generates schedules and educational tracking records for ongoing employee education and monitors quality and productivity

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in revenue cycle (patient financial services/patient access)
• Knowledge of hospital scheduling and patient access systems
• Familiarity with 3rd party billing requirements and reimbursement principles
• Experience in Training/Organizational Development or employee training activities is preferred
