Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and guidance on labor and employment-related matters to the People team and business leaders
• Review and ensure compliance with employment policies and state/federal employment laws
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support employment compliance and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• 5+ years of employment law experience in a law firm and/or in-house
• Active bar membership in any US state
• Deep knowledge of US and California employment laws
• Strong record of providing business-focused advice and identifying solutions
