Employment Counsel - Contract

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Counsel on a 1-year contract basis, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal interpretation and guidance on wage & hour, timekeeping, and leave/entitlement frameworks across global markets
• Review and harmonize global workforce governance policies in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Partner with the EWFM design team to evaluate risks and ensure compliance alignment in decision-making processes

Required Qualifications

• Law degree and bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
• 5-8+ years of employment law experience, preferably in multi-jurisdictional settings
• Expertise in wage & hour laws, scheduling legislation, and leave/entitlement frameworks
• Ability to translate legal requirements into operational policies and system requirements
