Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time hourly basis, the EMR Processing Agent will retrieve and prepare medical records electronically, ensuring proper job processes and providing feedback for improvements while maintaining quality and production metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Remotely retrieve and prepare medical records through providers' electronic systems
- Ensure job processes are functioning correctly and troubleshoot errors, providing feedback for improvements
- Participate in training sessions with Provider representatives and complete special projects as assigned
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to learn new EMR systems through training
- Demonstrated attention to detail in planning and executing tasks
- Ability to work well in a team environment
