Job Summary

A company is looking for an EMR Specialist to assist physicians by managing patient records from EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain working EMR access for navigation and basic troubleshooting
• Perform accurate and thorough data entry while maintaining productivity standards
• Maintain communication with physician teams regarding cases, case completion, and portal workflow

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience with electronic health information systems
• Knowledge of procedures and control techniques associated with confidentiality and integrity
• Understanding of network defenses and HIPAA laws and policies
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a shift-based schedule, including weekends and holidays
