EMT or Paramedic Dispatcher

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Care Traffic Controller (EMT or Paramedic) will manage the intake, triage, and access to care for members, coordinating field and virtual resources while following an afternoon/evening schedule based on Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Screen requests for services from members and coordinate assignment of care resources
• Collaborate with field operations managers and Virtual Urgent Care to initiate timely responses
• Identify and escalate issues related to safety, service delivery, and continuity of operations

Required qualifications

• Current State Office of EMS or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians compliant EMT or Paramedic Certification
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Preferred Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Certification
• Experience with crisis response programs and training
