EMT/Paramedic Dispatcher

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the EMT/Paramedic Dispatcher will manage intake, triage, and access to care for members across the country during three 12-hour shifts on weekends, plus an additional 4-hour shift during the week as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Screen requests for services from members and coordinate the assignment of care resources
• Collaborate with field operations managers and Virtual Urgent Care to initiate responses based on assessed needs
• Identify and escalate issues related to safety and service delivery while documenting assessments across multiple platforms

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant role with a Paramedic or EMT license
• Ability to work a consistent weekend schedule with additional weekday hours as needed
• Experience in coordinating care resources across multiple states
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and documentation across various platforms
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk assessment related to emergency care
