Endangered Species Act Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Endangered Species Act & Magnuson-Stevens Act Support professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist NMFS with the review and technical comments of biological assessments
• Evaluate and analyze effects of proposed actions on ESA-listed species and their habitats
• Develop recommendations to minimize adverse effects related to Bureau of Reclamation activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years or more relevant experience
• Expertise in anadromous salmonid biology and ecology in the Klamath River
• Knowledge of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and the Magnuson-Stevens Act (MSA)
• Efficiency in using word-processing programs for document development
• Experience managing complex impact analyses related to water operations
