Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Endocrinology Physician will provide patient care focused on obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management, working remotely with flexible scheduling options of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemedicine setting, focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and diabetes management
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and Registered Dietitians to ensure quality care and management of complex endocrinology cases
- Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the diabetes and obesity medicine program
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with valid Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional licenses
- 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
- Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of Continuous Glucose Monitors and insulin pumps
