Endocrinology Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, the fully remote Endocrinology Physician will provide evidence-based treatment for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management, collaborating with advanced practice providers and managing complex patient cases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine, focusing on obesity treatment and diabetes management, including insulin titration
• Review patient charts and conduct visits to ensure quality care for patients with complex co-morbidities
• Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the diabetes and obesity medicine program

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with valid and current Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses
• 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program in Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine
• Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps
