Job Summary
Seeking an Endocrinology Physician - AL Licensed for a fully remote, part-time or full-time position, responsible for providing telemedicine care focused on obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management, while collaborating with advanced practice providers and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a telemedicine setting, focusing on obesity treatment and diabetes management
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and Registered Dietitians to manage patient panels and ensure continuity of care
- Review patient charts and conduct visits to manage complex co-morbidities and contribute to quality improvement efforts
Required qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with valid Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional licenses
- Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of Continuous Glucose Monitors and insulin pumps
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with APPs and mentoring in a clinical setting
