Endocrinology Physician (CA Licensed)

Job Summary

To support a growing telemedicine clinic, the full-time Endocrinology Physician (CA Licensed) will provide evidence-based obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management, collaborating with advanced practice providers and dietitians while working remotely with flexible scheduling options of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focusing on obesity treatment and diabetes management, including insulin titration and the use of CGMs and insulin pumps
• Review patient charts and conduct visits to ensure quality care and management of complex co-morbidities
• Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the diabetes and obesity medicine program

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with valid and current Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program in Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine
• Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses
• Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care
