Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the remote Endocrinology Physician (Licensed) will provide evidence-based obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while managing a flexible schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care focused on obesity treatment and diabetes management, including insulin titration and the use of CGMs and insulin pumps
- Conduct initial and follow-up visits to ensure quality care for patients with complex co-morbidities like CKD, ESRD, and cardiovascular conditions
- Participate in team-based care initiatives, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to quality improvement efforts in the diabetes and obesity medicine program
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with valid Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility for additional state licenses
- 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities and advanced diabetes management
- Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred; bilingual candidates in Spanish are desired but not required
