Endovascular Cardiology Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Endovascular/Cardiology Coder (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Review electronic health record (EHR) documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and submit provider queries for documentation clarification
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and provide training to new coding staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• CIRCC certification is required
• One of the following certifications: CCS, RHIT, or CPC
• Minimum of 2 years of recent coding experience in endovascular procedures and cardiology
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with quality assurance reviews and training coding staff
• Hands-on experience with EPIC EHR
