Endpoint Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance data protection on devices, the full-time remote Endpoint Engineer will classify sensitive data, enforce policies at egress points, and integrate content inspection with AI-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the endpoint data-protection layer, classifying sensitive data and enforcing policy during egress
• Implement on-device content inspection and classification techniques, including pattern matching and fingerprinting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and address customer escalations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production systems software development using C/C++, particularly for endpoint agents
• Direct experience with insider-risk, data-security, or CASB/SASE data-protection products
• Strong knowledge of operating system internals and file system filtering
• Hands-on experience with content inspection methods and controlling device egress channels
• Proficiency in multi-threaded, performance-sensitive engineering and debugging on real user machines
