Endpoint Security Architect

Job Summary

To support the DC3 (Defense Cyber Crimes Center) in Linthicum Heights, MD with remote flexibility, the Endpoint Security Architect will develop and execute the technology strategy focused on endpoint security while ensuring high standards of security, performance, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technology solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards with a focus on endpoint security
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and best practices in endpoint security
• Drive continuous improvement in endpoint security operations, policies, and procedures, including incident response and vulnerability management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in endpoint security, including 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in developing endpoint security solutions in IL4/5 SaaS or IaaS environments
• Strong technical expertise in EDR tools such as Carbon Black, SentinelOne, or CrowdStrike
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are a plus
