Endpoint Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of enterprise environments, the full-time Endpoint Security Engineer will design and implement security configurations, administer endpoint security platforms, and analyze security event logs, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement endpoint and server security configuration changes through established change control processes
• Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain endpoint security platforms, including EDR solutions and host-based firewalls
• Analyze system, endpoint, and security event logs within SIEM platforms to identify risks and improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or endpoint/server security
• Must be a US Citizen
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and operating system security concepts
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability assessment tools
• Familiarity with security configuration standards and frameworks, including CIS Benchmarks and NIST guidance
