Job Summary
Seeking a mission-driven Endpoint Security Engineer, the full-time position will provide technical security engineering, endpoint device protection, and vulnerability reporting services while ensuring cybersecurity compliance for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a federal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain secure endpoint systems, delivering vulnerability reports and supporting Certification & Accreditation (C&A) processes
- Monitor and assess vulnerabilities, reporting in compliance with CISA directives and delivering assessments to senior stakeholders
- Assist with system security documentation, audit responses, and provide log forwarding support to SIEM systems for continuous monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and endpoint management
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards, including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and reporting tools
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
