Endpoint Threat Hunting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Endpoint Threat Hunting Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze logs and system artifacts for evidence of adversary activity in enterprise environments
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations for key stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and maturation of threat hunting capabilities, including research and scripting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience in threat hunting, including knowledge of forensic artifacts and analysis methodologies
• Strong threat analysis skills, including hypothesis-driven analysis and IOC searching
• Understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to use intelligence for IOC searching
• Ability to create search queries and write simple scripts in Python or another scripting language
• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience and training
