Endpoint Threat Hunting Consultant

Job Summary

To protect organizations against advanced adversaries, the full-time Endpoint Threat Hunting Consultant will analyze logs and system artifacts for evidence of adversary activity, produce high-quality reports and recommendations for stakeholders, and contribute to the development of threat hunting capabilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze logs and system artifacts to identify adversary activity in enterprise environments
• Produce detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for technical audiences and management
• Develop and mature threat hunting methodologies, including research and scripting

Required qualifications

• Experience in threat hunting with knowledge of Windows and Linux forensic artifacts
• Strong threat analysis skills, including hypothesis-driven analysis and IOC searching
• Understanding of targeted attacks and ability to utilize threat intelligence for IOC searching
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or similar languages
• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
