Energy Analyst

Job Summary

Providing analytical support to energy managers, the full-time remote Energy Analyst will focus on data management, reporting, invoice audits, and tariff analysis while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in energy supply advisory services.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate customer metrics across data management systems to ensure accuracy and address data integrity issues
• Oversee data analysis and reporting to inform insights related to cost, consumption, and supplier summaries
• Perform invoice audits and rate modeling, identifying errors and curating models for in-depth analysis

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or Engineering preferred
• 3+ years of energy market experience in roles such as energy procurement, utility, or consulting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis
• Familiarity with North American energy power or natural gas markets
• Experience in consultancy or professional services preferred
