Energy Analyst

Job Summary

Providing analytical support to energy managers, the full-time remote Energy Analyst will focus on data management, reporting, invoice audits, and tariff analysis while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in energy supply advisory services.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate customer metrics across data management systems to ensure accuracy and resolve data integrity issues
• Oversee data analysis and reporting to inform insights related to energy costs, consumption, and supplier summaries
• Execute daily operations related to natural gas transactions and manage communication with pipeline representatives and suppliers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or Engineering preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the energy market, preferably in energy procurement, utilities, or consulting
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerBI
• Familiarity with North American energy power or natural gas markets
• Experience in consultancy or professional services is preferred
