Job Summary
Managing the financial performance and optimization strategies of integrated power generation assets, the full-time remote Energy Asset Manager will oversee asset value creation, ensure compliance with commercial obligations, and enhance operational performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own the financial performance and value optimization strategies for assigned operating assets, including budget development and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with various agreements and monitor adherence to federal and state incentive programs
- Identify and resolve emerging technical or operational issues while supporting project transitions into commercial operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of experience in asset management, project finance, or commercial management within the energy or infrastructure industry
- Proven experience managing operational assets with direct responsibility for financial performance
- Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience with multi-technology energy projects and familiarity with ERCOT or other ISO/RTO markets is highly valued
