Energy Compliance Associate

Job Summary

Joining the Solar PV and Energy Storage team, the full-time Energy Compliance Associate will support the operation of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with NERC grid reliability standards and managing relationships with compliance consultants.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage compliance with NERC standards and oversee responses to audits and registrations
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to address grid events and compliance-related issues
• Advise development teams on standards applicability for new energy projects

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, energy, or engineering fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory or compliance fields, preferably with NERC requirements
• Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands
• Experience or education in solar, wind, or battery storage technologies is a plus
