Energy Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Energy Engineer to work remotely in Michigan, who will conduct energy assessments, compile documentation, and ensure the accuracy of energy savings calculations while collaborating with team members to achieve energy savings goals.

Key responsibilities

• Independently conduct energy assessments and compile associated documentation
• Perform ASHRAE level II audits and develop IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports
• Analyze energy consumption data to identify trends and develop optimization strategies

Required qualifications

• 2-10+ years of relevant experience in energy engineering
• BS Engineering degree or a graduate degree with combined experience
• US FE/EIT certification preferred
• Experience with energy simulation projects and HVAC systems
• Ability to develop technical training materials related to prescriptive measures
