Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Energy Engineer I will conduct site assessments, identify energy efficiency opportunities, and facilitate the technical components of incentive applications, working both remotely and in-person with utility customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Calculate energy savings using engineering principles and conduct energy audits to identify efficiency improvements
- Prepare technical reports and support the development of measures for program planning with technical oversight
- Analyze energy efficiency projects utilizing various tools and software while prioritizing safety in all tasks
Required qualifications:
- 0-3+ years of experience in the Energy Engineering field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Familiarity with energy modeling principles and data analytics is a plus
