Energy Investment Analyst

Job Summary

To support the evaluation and management of financial and commercial aspects of advanced nuclear and clean energy projects, the full-time remote Energy Investment Analyst will lead financial modeling efforts, assist in capital raising and transaction support, and monitor portfolio performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling in Excel to evaluate investment opportunities and assess capital structures across energy assets
• Support investment transactions by preparing investment memos and coordinating diligence processes with external partners
• Track and report on the financial and operational performance of portfolio investments while maintaining investment tracking tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or infrastructure investing
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and project finance principles, including complex financial modeling
• Experience in transaction support and capital raising processes
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial modeling and presentations
