Energy Market Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Market Analyst (Solution Modeling).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of energy market models using PLEXOS and related tools
• Assist in building and validating datasets for production cost modeling and market forecasting studies
• Perform scenario analysis and interpret model results to support business decisions for clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Economics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
• 1-3 years of experience in energy modeling, grid planning, or energy consulting (internships included)
• Familiarity with power markets, ISO/RTO operations, or utility planning processes
• Basic experience with Python or SQL for data analysis or automation
• Exposure to tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar modeling platforms is a plus
