Job Summary
To support Google's infrastructure growth, the full-time salaried Energy Market Development Negotiator will negotiate agreements, manage vendor relationships, and develop strategies for site expansion projects, with the flexibility to work remotely or from various office locations.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new site expansion projects and infrastructure procurement for data centers
- Serve as a commercial liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, developing long-term infrastructure strategies
- Negotiate agreements with vendors and landowners, leading the development of strategic partnerships for space and utility services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Policy, Engineering, Economics, Law, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development
- 7 years of experience in energy industry negotiations and agreement structuring
- 5 years of experience developing market or regulatory engagement strategies within the U.S. energy sector
- 3 years of experience managing cross-functional infrastructure or energy supply projects with external stakeholders
