Energy Markets Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Markets Analyst focused on the ERCOT market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage data and optimize processes related to energy market operations, including asset qualification and financial settlements
• Collaborate across teams to improve profitability of market-specific portfolios and support customer-facing needs
• Assist in the registration and enrollment process of demand response assets to various utility and grid operator programs

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of working experience
• 1-2 years of experience in the demand-side energy industry (preferred, not required)
• Exhibited interest in the energy and/or climate space
• Strong technical background in Excel and programming experience including Python
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
