Energy Markets Analyst (NY)

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Energy Markets Analyst (NY) to manage participation in NYISO's Wholesale Capacity market, enhance analytical tools, and collaborate cross-functionally, all within a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance tools that support participation in NYISO's Wholesale Capacity Market
• Communicate program rules and technical requirements to account managers and customers
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to improve portfolio performance

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Programming experience in Python and SQL, with strong proficiency in Excel
• 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in the demand-side energy industry
• Demonstrated interest in the energy and/or climate space
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
