Job Summary
Focused on advancing energy policy initiatives, the full-time salaried Energy Policy Manager will monitor regulatory developments, conduct research, and support advocacy efforts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments impacting the company's business interests
- Support the development and execution of advocacy initiatives and prepare related materials
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders to coordinate policy positions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Energy Management, Economics, Environmental Policy, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in energy policy, regulatory affairs, or related fields
- Experience working with utilities, regulators, governmental agencies, or energy companies
- Working knowledge of energy markets, utility regulation, and renewable energy policy
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex topics effectively
