Job Summary
Leading a team of Energy Advisors, the full-time salaried Energy Sales Director will provide strategic guidance, develop sales strategies, and foster a collaborative culture while working remotely to address complex energy challenges faced by businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic resource for Energy Advisors, providing insight and support throughout sales cycles
- Lead and mentor the team to enhance sales performance and facilitate professional development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies in alignment with business objectives
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in retail commercial energy, focusing on electricity or natural gas procurement
- 3+ years of experience managing a B2B sales team, preferably in the energy sector
- Familiarity with energy markets such as NYISO, ERCOT, or similar
- Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, to track sales activities
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team culture that values integrity and collaboration
