Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Trader.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and refine day-ahead and real-time trading strategies in PJM to generate risk-adjusted returns
• Monitor market changes and provide insights for timely trade decisions while managing portfolio risk limits
• Build quantitative dashboards and models to enhance strategy selection and document post-trade reviews

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of profitable proprietary trading experience in PJM Virtuals/UTCs or related derivatives
• Demonstrated ownership of trading strategy from idea generation to execution and risk management
• Familiarity with PJM market data and ICE power contracts
• Proficiency in analytical languages (Python, SQL) and strong Excel skills
• Authorized to work in the United States; open to W-2 or 1099 engagement structures
