Energy Trader - ERCOT Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Trader - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize battery energy storage system (BESS) assets in ERCOT and ISONE markets
• Develop co-optimization strategies and execute energy bid submittals
• Monitor market trends and provide training to new traders on processes and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, preferably Economics, Finance, or Engineering
• Minimum of three years of experience in the energy sector
• Experience with ERCOT power market; ISO-NE experience preferred
• Familiarity with trading/scheduling software and proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation
