Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Trading and Transactions Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in electricity, natural gas, capacity, and emissions trading across various RTO/ISO markets
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements related to energy transactions
• Advise on compliance with relevant regulations and support structured energy deals and market operations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy commodities transactions and trading compliance
• In-depth knowledge of RTO/ISO markets and commodity exchange frameworks
• Familiarity with federal and state regulatory regimes affecting trading activities
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills
