Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Energy Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrites new and renewal energy-sector risks, evaluating submissions and supporting documentation
Assesses risk acceptability and determines appropriate coverage structures based on analysis of various factors
Maintains and strengthens broker relationships while driving new business opportunities and managing the full underwriting cycle

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered
5+ years of experience in Energy Underwriting or related industrial sectors
Must meet minimum requirements for applicable state insurance licenses and/or surplus lines licenses
Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or energy-focused certifications are a plus
