Enforcement Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Enforcement Operations Specialist will review user interactions for policy violations, handle escalations to law enforcement and NCMEC, and develop expertise in violence-related policy areas while managing high-stakes decisions under time pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Review violent exchanges and user content to assess credibility and specificity of harm
• Handle escalations to law enforcement and NCMEC, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging harm trends and refine referral criteria

Required qualifications

• Direct experience with law enforcement referrals or comparable mandatory reporting workflows
• Experience reviewing violent content or credible threats in a Trust & Safety or content moderation context
• Background in threat assessment, crisis response, or intelligence analysis
• Understanding of policy enforcement in digital platforms and legal frameworks governing escalations
• Genuine interest in AI safety and ethical technology development
