Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engagement Reporter to join their engagement reporting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify crowdsourcing opportunities and collaborate with reporters on community-driven investigative stories
• Craft and manage callouts, surveys, and other tools for investigations, maintaining a network of respondents
• Research communities and engage sources effectively, while developing relationships with long-term community contacts

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of journalism experience in reporting or an engagement-focused role
• Experience in reporting stories that highlight injustices and hold the powerful accountable
• Demonstrated creative outreach skills through various platforms and strategies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on long-term projects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
