Engagement Specialist I

Job Summary

Serving as the initial point of contact for patients and caregivers, the full-time Engagement Specialist I will educate patients about nutrition support programs, schedule telehealth appointments with Registered Dietitians, and provide basic technical support, all while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients and families
• Make outbound calls to educate patients about programs and assist with enrollment
• Document patient interactions accurately within EMR and CRM systems

Required qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S
• 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing or healthcare communication role
• Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and basic insurance concepts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage sensitive situations
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
