Engagement Specialist I
Job Summary
Serving as the first point of contact for patients and caregivers, the part-time Engagement Specialist I will educate patients about nutrition support programs, schedule telehealth appointments with Registered Dietitians, and provide technical support while working remotely on a contract basis for up to 30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients and families
- Make outbound calls to educate patients about programs and assist with enrollment
- Document patient interactions accurately within EMR and CRM systems
Required qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing or healthcare communication role
- Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and basic insurance concepts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
