Engineering Consultant
Job Summary
Supporting project teams in a remote full-time capacity, the Engineering Consultant will apply engineering expertise to data and documents, review engineering drawings, validate data, and assist with project coordination and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering documents, drawings, and specifications to identify key information for analysis
- Verify data on underground and overhead electric system structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist lead engineers with developing construction documents, reports, and project deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field; or relevant experience with a non-engineering degree
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and GIS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with basic engineering calculations and documentation
