Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the engineering team in a fully remote capacity, the Engineering Director will manage team capacity planning, oversee technical leads, and guide architectural design for integration projects while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define roles, manage recruitment, and oversee onboarding for team capacity planning
• Guide architectural design and technical decisions for integration projects, ensuring compliance with PII and security standards
• Represent the engineering team in client-facing technical discussions and oversee project planning and execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or Backend Developer
• Proficiency in Python development, distributed backend architecture, and API design
• Experience with designing authorized data extraction systems and handling sensitive financial data
• Knowledge of PII compliance frameworks and secure coding principles
