Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead their development team and enhance engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team while recruiting and retaining talent
• Partner with Product leadership to translate the product roadmap into engineering deliverables and manage project timelines
• Establish code quality standards and implement engineering best practices for system design and performance optimization

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles
• Experience scaling engineering teams from 5-10 to 20-50+ engineers
• Proven track record in delivering complex SaaS products in fast-paced environments
• Strong background in modern web app development and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience implementing engineering processes and standards from the ground up
