Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading engineering initiatives in the ANZ region, the full-time Senior Engineering Director will manage a team of Engineering Directors, drive strategic project delivery, and modernize engineering practices while collaborating closely with senior product leadership and stakeholders in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee engineering outcomes and lead a team of Engineering Directors, ensuring high standards and professional growth
• Act as the senior decision-maker for engineering in the region, managing strategic project delivery and stakeholder expectations
• Promote engineering modernization by advocating for the transition to scalable, cloud-based architectures and best-practice standards

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an engineering leader at the Director level or equivalent, with a history of managing multi-squad organizations
• Strong people leadership skills, capable of setting direction and exercising autonomy on behalf of senior management
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, comfortable engaging with executives and external customers
• Experience driving engineering modernization and transitioning from legacy systems to modern architectures
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS environments and the ability to quickly master the Reapit platform and Global Technology Strategy
