Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the Engineering and Grounds department, the full-time remote Engineering Director will oversee maintenance operations, manage departmental budgets, and ensure guest service goals are met through effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the Engineering and Grounds department, ensuring maintenance and construction activities align with company objectives
• Prepare and manage the financial plan for the department, including labor, expenses, and capital projects
• Coordinate with various departments to prioritize guest-related maintenance needs and ensure timely completion of projects

Required qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of supervisory experience in general building maintenance or trades such as electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration
• B.S. or advanced degree in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent managerial experience
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on process and change management
• Experience in preparing and managing operational and capital budget programs
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures
