Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading large-scale engineering initiatives, the remote Engineering Director will manage multiple engineering teams, drive innovation, and align technical solutions with the company's business strategy while overseeing complex projects and mentoring senior talent.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and output of engineering teams, ensuring effective project execution and alignment with company goals
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the engineering strategy and roadmap, guiding the organization through an agentic AI transition
• Manage large-scale engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles, with 5+ years in leadership positions
• Proven track record of leading multiple engineering teams and delivering complex, high-impact projects
• Strong technical background in software development, systems architecture, and cloud technologies
• Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, and modern DevOps practices
